A short movie on my trip last summer, 2007, on the visitation of the ‘LuftwaffenMuseum’ (German Airforces Museum), very near Berlin, a former military Airport. The sight now opens as a museum, free to visit. Great amount of aircrafts to see, especially fighters, on this stretched district. Also due to the small amount of other visitors, I could hear the fighters cracking in the sun’s heat all around me, as the only sound surrounding me. Quite surreal! “The air force museum represents the history of the military aviation and aerial warfare guided tour in Germany of their beginnings up to the presence and puts it into the historical entire connection. This includes the processing of the aerial warfare operations of opposing armed forces in the world wars against Germany and the presence of other armed forces on German ground after 1945.” Check their site at: www.luftwaffenmuseum.com or aviation-photo’s in general at www.b-domke.de Credits at end: SHOT AND EDITED BY YORICK LA RIVIÈRE SONG IS ‘TARANTULA’ BY THE SMASHING PUMPKINS

So this is Berlin 2011 when we went on a school trip for history. i’m a bit gutted there wasn’t actually much of Berlin that was captured on film, and it’s mostly the airport nd flight.. but there’s still some amusing bits in this vlog. There are also pictures in the video if you get bored :L
Berlin Pre-World War II This footage is amazing and very beautiful hope you all enjoy Music-Killer tracks- paradise awaits, two steps from hell- undying faith, convincing composed by lorne balfe Do not comment on the video if you do not have anything positive to say. If you hate the Third Reich or the Germans and post hate comments why do you watch the videos in the first place if you hate them so much. I dont own anything in this video, i uploaded this only for entertainment purposes.
Modern Marvels : The Berlin Wall 480P Part 1 / 3 Playlist link: www.youtube.com Part 1: youtu.be Part 2: youtu.be Part 3: youtu.be The Berlin Wall was placed in Berlin, Germany at the end of World War II. It was put there to separate East Germany from West Germany. West Germany had a Democratic government with two parties (similar to our Democrats and Republicans). The East German side had only one political party, called the Communist party, in which the people had no voice. The Berlin Wall was put up in August of 1961. It was made with concrete, barbed wire, plasterboard walls and many other things. During the years 1953 to 1989, people on the Eastern side who lived in houses near the wall spent their nights digging tunnels under the wall from their basements trying to escape to freedom in the West. They also climbed over the wall, sometimes during the day. When the Eastern side found this out, they put guards on the wall, and if they saw an escapee, that person would be shot. Friends and even family were separated. People would peer over the wall to see their friends. Even soldiers would cross over the wall.
My daughter put together this video for her World History class project. It is very informative to only be 6 minutes long. She did an outstanding job with it. The 4 students standing in front of a section of the Berlin Wall at 5:43 is my daughter and her friends. They got the opportunity to see it on a trip to Washington DC.
